English: Cavite Provincial Capitol Complex & Trece Martires City Hall -[1] Governor: Jonvic Remulla Mayor: Melandres de Sagun Coordinates: 14°16'48"N 120°52'1"E Website Trece Martires[2] Website [3] Coordinates: 14°16'26"N 120°52'25"E - The City of Trece Martires (Filipino: Lungsod ng Trece Martires) is a component city in the province of Cavite, [4] located at the intersection of the Tanza-Indang Road and the Naic-Dasmariñas Road (now Governor's Drive)[5] in the province; named after the Thirteen Martyrs of Cavite[6] , a group of prominent citizens of Cavite who were convicted of rebellion and executed by the Spaniards on September 12, 1896 in the old port city of Cavite during the Philippine Revolution. According to the 2010 census, the city has a population of 104,559 people with a land area of 39.10 km2 (15.10 sq mi). As of 2011, the provincial capital is still Imus City, but most of the provincial offices are still located in Trece Martires City.
